In the 80s she played lead roles in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. The most well-known role she played was in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. The film won an Oscar and the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and was also a commercial and critically acclaimed success. Born in Sweden in the city of Skane, she was a model before beginning her acting career. She was crowned Miss Sweden. She then moved to America and was soon playing roles in numerous films. Her first credited role was in the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in which she played a Venusian guard. In the following year, she won the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category, after being featured in the movie Blood Alley.
